Finding Ferngulli Land Acknowledgment

As a brand that is inspired by the land that surrounds it, it is our duty to acknowledge the Waⁿdát (Wyandot Nation) and Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi Nation) historical territories in which we create our art at the finding ferngulli studio.

The Waⁿdát and Bodwéwadmi people lived on & tended to this beautiful and sacred land long before European colonizers arrived, and continue on today along with people from many other tribes. The Waⁿdát and Bodwéwadmi were subject to disease epidemics, displacement, and ethnic cleansing starting in the 1600s, and injustice acts toward these communities persist today.

Finding ferngulli stands for the reconciliation with indigenous people by listening to their stories, supporting the fight for their rights, and respecting the land as taught by indigenous teachers.
